It embodies the common flow that teaches us to move together – with care and resilience.
why water?
Beglika is born in the Water Heart of Bulgaria – the Living Mountain that safeguards:
> 36% of the country’s forests
> 35% of the reservoir volume
> 40% of the hydropower
We are responsible for what flows between us.
Water has always been more than a substance – a source, a symbol, a memory.
Our people know it: “Water gathered in silence”, “Water spoken over”, “Living water”.

Three stages with music — local and international artists, DJ sets, ecstatic dance

Carving Corsairs in Strange Tides
This year, Beglika is being boarded. A band of pirates — the Carving Corsairs — moor in the middle of the water and erect a glowing dome that is unlike anything seen on the shore before.
The Dome
An impressive glowing installation that floats on the water and slowly rotates around its axis. The eight totems surround it like illuminated landmarks and turn to face each shore in turn. Something you stare at for a long time, even without playing anything.
The Stage
And when it plays, the dome comes to life. An open stage for a DJ at its heart; the sound goes along with the rotation and floods the entire shore.
The Fire
There is also room for a fire above the water. If you are a fire-maker, this is your deck — come and light the totems with us.
